Booking & Ticketing

Where can I buy a ticket and book my trip?

You can buy a ticket and book your trip either online or in-person.

Online: by visiting our website. We recommend booking online for instant confirmation.

In Person: at the departure hub prior to departure. Seat may not be guaranteed.

How can I pay when booking?

There are different payment methods depending on where you buy your ticket.

Online booking: We accept credit/debit cards (VISA/MasterCard/Amex). There is a service fee when booking ticket via website.

In-person: We accept all forms of payment (including cash) using point of sale.

What does a bus ticket cost?

A one-way ticket on the bus is $55.00 plus tax.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. You can simply display your ticket on your phone, or have your ticket/booking ID ready along with a government-issued photo ID at check-in.

Bus Schedule & Route

What days does the bus run?

The bus runs 4 days a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

There is no bus service on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Public Holidays.

Where does the bus go?

Our bus service operates between Prince Albert and Saskatoon.

Stops are made at locations in-between with pre-booking.

Where are the exact pick-up and drop-off locations?

Prince Albert: The Gateway Mall at Bishop McLean Crescent entrance, behind St. Alban's Church.

Saskatoon: Saskatoon International Airport (YXE) at 2625 Airport Drive, Section 5B.

What bus companies do you connect with?

We connect with Creighton Connection in Prince Albert where you can make connections to and from Creighton/Flin Flon.

How can I get to Saskatoon downtown after I drop-off at the Airport?

You can connect with the Saskatoon City Transit Bus #11 that goes to/from the airport. It will take you directly to downtown at the City Transit exchange on 23rd Street and 2nd Avenue.

Taxis and Uber/Lyft are also available and easily accessible at the airport.

Someone is coming to pick me up at the Saskatoon airport when I arrive. Where can they park?

They can park in Section 4, which is 5 minutes maximum parking.

They should NOT park in Section 5 as this is the City Bus parking only, otherwise they will get an automatic ticket.

Boarding & Travel

What time should I arrive at the departure hub?

You are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. This will enable our staff to verify your ID, check you in, and load your luggage.

What do I need to board the bus?

You will be required to show photo ID to check in for your bus trip. If you do not present ID, you may be refused travel.

What happens if I miss my departure time?

You must be at your stop at least 15 minutes before departure. If you miss your bus, your ticket becomes void and cannot be used for another time. A new ticket must be purchased.

Is there free Wi-Fi on the bus?

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available on-board.

Luggage & Parcel

How much luggage am I allowed?

You are allowed two pieces of luggage and one carry on with your ticket (luggage that is very oversize or overweight may be subject to additional charges).

You will be required to pay additional fees for extra luggage: 3rd Luggage - $30 extra and 4th Luggage - $40.

Can I send a parcel with the bus?

Yes. We transport parcels and packages from depot-to-depot. Parcels must be prepaid before shipping.

Where can I drop-off my parcel or package for shipment?

In Prince Albert:

You can drop off your parcel at 293 17 St West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 3X6.

  • Parcels can be delivered at this location for same-day shipment or pick up.
  • Parcels can be held at this location for a few hours prior to shipment or pick up.
  • Parcels cannot be held overnight at this location.

You can also drop off your parcel with the driver directly at the departure hub at the Gateway Mall, Bishop McLean Crescent.

In Saskatoon:

You can drop off your parcel at the Saskatoon International Airport (YXE), 2625 Airport Drive, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 7L1.

  • Please deliver your parcel to the depot 30 minutes before departure, directly to the driver.
  • Parcels cannot be held at this location. You will have to meet the bus driver to drop off or pick up your parcel(s).

Can I send a parcel to be delivered at an address besides the Diamond North Express pick-up/drop-off locations?

No. We do not do door-to-door delivery of parcels. All parcels must be picked up same day at the drop-off/pick-up locations in Prince Albert or Saskatoon.

Traveling with Minor

My child is 13 years old. Can they travel alone on the bus?

No. Children 13 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Children between 14 and 15 years old may travel unaccompanied. However, we highly recommend adult (parent/guardian) assistance while boarding and disembarking the bus.

Cancellations & Modification

I want to cancel my ticket. Will I get a full refund?

No. We do not issue full refunds for purchased tickets.

Purchased tickets can be cancelled with a 50% refund, provided at least 24 hours' notice is given in writing to diamondnorthexpress@gmail.com before departure.

Cancellations within 24 hours of departure are not eligible for partial refund or rescheduling.

Purchased tickets can be rescheduled or converted to a credit once by email up to 24 hours before departure. There will be NO REFUNDS and NO RESCHEDULING for no shows, or missed buses.

I want to change my already booked ticket. What do I do?

You can modify the date and time of your ticket online through your booking account. A processing fee may apply.

Changes must be requested at least 24 hours before departure. Once a ticket has been rescheduled, it cannot be rescheduled again or refunded.

Lost & Found

I forgot an item on the bus. What should I do?

Please click on "Fill in the form" button below and provide the details of your case.

My luggage or parcel is damaged. What happens?

Diamond North Express is not liable for any luggage or parcel not complying with our terms and conditions. The maximum baggage liability is $100 per person/ticket.

Special Cases

Are pets or animals allowed on the bus?

We permit only qualified service dogs (as defined under the Service Dogs Act) with proper ID on the bus.

Please contact us via phone or email at least 48 hours prior to departure for approval.

Therapy pets and emotional support animals are not allowed.

Do you provide charter services?

No. For charter services, please contact Aurora Charter Services.
